HP Released Print and Scan Doctor Version 4.4 (HPPSdr.exe), which adds Support for Windows 8.1. This Improved and updated version is now available for Download at HP site. Quickly, HP Print and Scan tool is a very good utility to fix Commons problems  for your HP Printers and  scanners,including the connectivity errors between your HP products and your PC and laptops , check out my earlier post on three useful HP Tools.

If you are using a HP Diagnostic Utility, i recommend to download HP Print and Scan doctor (4.4) as this is a complete replacement of HP Diagnostic Utility for Printer and scanners as quoted below from HP.

Easy Way to Minimize Sticky Notes in Windows 7

Sticky Notes are handy and very useful tool to draft quick notes when working on Windows 7 and Windows 8 Systems.though Sticky notes are very helpful, it consumes most part of your desktop space, and unfortunately sticky notes do not have a minimize button.

Today, I will Show you How to Minimize or hide the Sticky Notes on Windows 7 an Windows 8 without using any Third Party applications or software's, its just simple to do that, in three steps.

• Open Sticky Notes 

• Click on the Start button. In the search box, type Sticky Notes, and then Right Click on the Sticky Notes and click on Pin to Taskbar

Pin Sticky Notes to Taskbar

• The Sticky Notes, Will now show in the Taskbar, click on the Sticky Notes to Open it and Draft the notes(Whatever you would like to)

• Now the Important Part, to Minimize the sticky notes, Go to Taskbar and Click on Close Window, This will minimize the sticky notes.

Hiding and Minimizing Sticky Notes

When you click on the Sticky Notes Again, It will open with all your data.
Always use the Close Window Option int he Taskbar to Minimize or Hide the Sticky notes, this will allow you to have your data saved when you come back again.

If you are using Windows 8, Tap he windows key on your keyboard and Type sticky notes it should come up with the application. Learn More about Sticky notes app in Windows 8 Here.

How To Check Your HP Product Warranty Status

HP Launched Consumer Support Page to check the Warranty Status of the HP Products. If you would like to check the warranty status, all you need is the Serial No and the Product Number of your HP Product


Usually The S/N and P/N numbers can be viewed on label of bar code of the product which is presented on the bottom /side of the product.

The Serial Number (s/n) is a ten-digit alpha-numeric number that is unique to your product.
The Product Number (p/n) is a six or seven-digit alpha-numeric number that identifies your product. as shown below.

If you are unsure to find the Product and Serial Number,then use the Automatic product detection and warranty check tool, this will install a small application which automatically detects your HP Products and display the Warranty Information.

Difference Between CRC9 and TS9 Antenna Connectors

If you are reading this post its obvious that you are in need of a CRC9 or TS9 or either using any USB Modems. Today's 3G and 4G  Modems are featured with External Antenna Ports, Either TS9 or CRC9

Mostly ZTE Modems comes with TS9 and Huawei Modems comes with CRC9 External Antenna Connectors, but sometimes they might be interchanged, always look for your Device Specifications for the Right Standard(CRC9/TS9)

Coming to Actual Difference between he CRC9 and TS9 Connectors, Both Look almost similar, but when have a deep look into it, we can see a greater difference in it.

The Front of TS9 Connector has a bigger Diameter when compared to CRC9.See the Below Picture for the difference in the Diameters.
