HP G3110 Scanner Limited User Patch

HP recently released a limited user patch for HP Scanjet G3110 Scanner, This patch fixes an application error when scanning from a limited/restricted user account.The below patch works with the following operating systems

Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit), Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows XP x64.

Follow the below simple steps to install the HP G3110 Scanner Limited User Patch.

Login as an administrator. Run the downloaded file to start the installation. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. While still logged in as an administrator, launch Solution Center and perform a scan. You can now scan from a limited/restricted user account.

Hopefully limited or restricted users will not have any problems scanning from HP software.

When it comes to the whats new with Sony Ericsson PC Suite 5.0 Version 5.009.00, I believe the File Transfer mode is more user interactive, with three sections as you computer on the left and the phone memory folder on the top and below that you have the memory stick of your mobile(if installed).

Its just a push arrow transfer of files from one folder to others using phone mode, experience the other great features of Sony Ericsson PC Suite 5.0.

Destination Component Has Stopped Working-Scanning To PDF

Destination component has stopped working error when scanning to PDF, encountered the same error when trying to save a scanned file to pdf format using my 6300 series all-in-one. though the pdf file is saved in the destination folder, when tried to open with adobe acrobat reader it says "Adobe Reader could not open pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file was damaged". As a blind shoot i opened the file though it says the file size is 0 kb

Not sure what exactly is causing the Destination component has stopped working error.Eager to find the solution, is it the adobe acrobat reader or the HP Software unable to find the destination program(pdf program). I tried reinstallaing both the applications adobe as well as HP Software by downloading from the web with no luck.

One way i could get it worked once is to repair the destination software. I did this by going to temp file folder(when you double click on the downloaded hp software file, extraction takes place and places the extracted files in the temp folder)

You can access the temp folder by clicking on start-->Run---> type "%temp%" without quotes and hit enter.This will bring up the temp folder, go to 7zS0B06\setup\destinations folder(in case of 6300 series)should find two files in the destination folder data1 and destination installer package.

Right click on executable desitnation installer package file and click on repair(if you are asked for the destination.msi during repair browse to the same location of destination.msi and click on Ok to continue the repair.) you might need to restart your pc if required.

Retrieve Deleted Or Unsaved Phone Numbers In Sony Ericsson Mobile

This post explains how to retrieve the deleted phone numbers or unsaved numbers from Sony Ericsson mobile, if you are reading this post you must be in desperate need of the accidentally deleted number from your call list, either it might be a dialed number or a missed call to you mobile or a received call from a teasing girl where you forgot to save the sumber.

I assume this tip or the trick might work on all the sony ericsson mobiles. Method 1 To Recover Cleared Call List In Sony Ericsson Mobiles:

• Go To Main Menu
• Select Contacts
• Select New Contact and Click On Add
• Scroll Down New Number OR Number(Don't Bother about the name)
• Click On Add
• In the NExt Screen, Click On Lookup
• In The Next Screen, You will have a list of contacts which are already save
• Click on more and click on unsaved number

There you go , you will find all the unsaved numbers or the deleted numbers. This included the 10 most recent deleted, missed and received calls.Unfortunately there is only 10 stack memory.

Method 2 To Recover Cleared Call List In Sony Ericsson Mobiles:

In the Main Menu

• Select Message
• Choose Write New Message
• Press continue With Blank Message
• Press Contacts Lookup
• Press more
• Choose unsaved numbers.

Hope This Simple tip Helps someone or the other who accidentally deleted the unsaved call.

Updates the iChannel download mechanism so that it works as follows:

1. When HP MediaSmart TV (MSTV) launches, MSTV asks the TVAgent to download provider.xml and all channellist.xml.

2. When an XML file is downloaded, TVAgent records the time of the download.

3. For the same XML file, TVAgent checks to determine if this file was downloaded more than 12 hours ago. If not, TVAgent will re-download it. If yes,TVAgent will do nothing.

4. When the user enters the iChannel folder, MSTV asks TVAgent to download the necessary thumbnails in that folder. Thumbnails in the sub-folder do not download in this case.

5. For the same thumbnail (PreviewPath is the same), TVAgent does not re-download the file.

6. When MSTV is closed, MSTV asks TVAgent to stop downloading. (TVAgent finishes the current ongoing task, and then stops until MSTV is alive again.) TVAgent does not download anything when MSTV is not running.
