Sony Released 11.0.A.4.27 For Tipo ST21i To Fix Echo

Sony Today Released 11.0.A.4.27 For Tipo ST21i To Fix Echo Problem in the Phone, I just ran the update of 11.0.A.4.27 and it went through successfully. Folks who are facing the echo problem in Tipo, I recommend to update your phone software to 11.0.A.4.27 through Sony PC Companion.

Sony ST21i was updated with 11.0.A.4.27. You Xperia Device is now updated with the latest software, I love to see this message again and again..with the Jelly Bean Update for Tipo..But Sony let me down with a BIG no for Tipo.

Anyway..My experience with 11.0.A.4.27 is good and the echo in the tipo seems to be resolved with the version.Here are the update screenshots.

Sony Tipo ST21i Certified Software Versions 11.0.A.4.27

In My Earlier post about the Sony Tipo, I mentioned sony is going to release a software upgrade to solve the echo problem..today i went back to see the certified software versions for Tipo on PTCRB, the latest software version that was certified for tipo was  11.0.A.4.27 on Feb 22, 2013. so still hope the echo will be fixed in the next update from sony.

The Curent revision of tipo is 11.0.A.4.22   Refer The Tipo Echo Problem Here, besides echo on tipo single and dual, you might also encounter issues with screen patching, a white patches on screen, as reported by few members in sony support forums.

How To Resolve Sony Tipo Echo Problem

Update, Check this link to resolve the tipo echo problem, keep your phone updated to 11.0.a.4.27

Here is the quick update on how to resolve and fix Echo Problem on Sony Tipo Mobile Phone, if you are reading this post, you probably facing a similar Echo problem with Sony Tipo(Single or Dual sim). The echo problem is mostly observed when you make an outgoing calls where the receiver hears his own voice twice(echoed) at his end, this might be unseen and unheard at the callers end(your side), but a lot frustrating at the other end.

I see people screaming about this echo problem on sony discussions forums(talk.sonymobile.com), but as usual sony is irresponsible towards its mistakes. Personally, after a lot of visits to Sony service centre and  several software upgrades and repair options, i tried the following steps to resolve and fix the echo problem on my Tipo.

• First thing i recommend is to remove the mobile cover if you have for your tipo
• Then Reset the Settings--->Backup and Reset--->Settings Reset
• Go to Settings--->Sound, Turn off xLOUD
• Go to Volumes, and set all the three categories to 80%
• Make a Test outgoing call from your mobile and make sure you set your Ear volume to 80% do not let it be on 100% volume.

Make an outgoing call and check if the reciever is able to hear his own voice twice at his end.

As I tuned to the above said settings, i no more have echo problem for my Tipo.Post your comments and experience on sony Tipo Echo Problems using the below comments section.

Update: Sony Identified this as a defect in the Tipo Series and the echo issue will be fixed in the next software update for Tipo, this has been confirmed in the Discussions forum, check here

Curiosity Mars Rover Has Dust and Pebbles Over the Body

Just finished watching NASA Live Television about the Briefing of Curiosity on Mars.NASA released high resolution 360 degree panorama view of the Mars, surroundings of curiosity.From the Release High Resolution pictures the Rover has Black Pebbles and small stones and dust accumulated over the surface of its body. Click on the Images to begin the slide show and to have a bigger view.

 This 360-degree, full-resolution panorama from NASA's Curiosity rover shows the area all around the rover within Gale Crater on Mars, the Rovers has Pebbles and dust particles accumulated over it, by the rockets while descent of curiosity took place.

This is another view on Mars near the Curiosity, Photographed by Curiosity MAST CAM showing hills, where the curiosity will go and investigate biological evidence.

NASA Scientists brief that, these dust particles will clear off by itself when the Rover stats moving and climbing the near by hills in the coming days.There is no abnormal functioning of the Machinery by the accumulated Dust on Curiosity by the descendent rockets.

Curiosity Mars Rover Landing Pictures From NASA

In addition t My earlier post, Curiosity Landed safely on the surface of Mars.NASA Released a series of Pictures on how Curiosity Landed on Mars, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) captured an image of the rover gliding on its parachute just before Curiosity landing.The following are the pictures which makes you feel proud about today's Engineering and Technology. My anxiety is near peak, as the NASA's most advanced Rover called Curiosity is nearing the MARS for a successful landing.To Give You more information on What exactly is the curiosity, you can visit the NASA Mars Website to learn more about it.If everything goes well, Curiosity is going to Land on Mars on at 10.31 PM Pacific Time and 10.31 ET Time which would be 11:01:00 a.m. Monday August 6, 2012 Indian Time.
