The DAV-DZ810 has amazing bass sound but if you're picky about mid and high frequencies, you may not like this guy, seriously :)

ReplyDeleteabhishek21choudhary, your pc need to have optical input header on the motherboard or optical out jack..most latest advanced mother boards have it.
ReplyDeleteif you can check if your mother board has atleast optical of spdif out header, you can connect your dav dz 610 to your pc and enjoy 5.1 surround sound .

ReplyDeleteHi. this is Waqas from Pakistan. Initially i got 840 when i went to buy an 810 but let me tell u guys that 840 really sucked on sound quality! I returned that and got an 810 which i got for a discounted price since it was the last display piece. Its sound quality is great and i believe it is because 810 has got Dolby Pro Logic II which is not there in the new 40 series and they are just marketing it on the visible tweeters that it has got (as if the tweeters have just been invented!)

ReplyDeleteDZ310 plays only AVI with Divx or Xvid and MPEG4
it doesnt play MKV and if you want to play use convertor and convert it into only either in AVI Divx/Xvid (dont convert HD)

Hello Every one,I have one issue that i am i have DAV-DZ310 and this doesn't have optical IN so if you want to connect your HD settop box or TV audio to home theter for getting audio for the vidio that you are playing using USB in TV.(LIke new all TV supports all formats including .mkv,Mov,Vob etc) so you can play moovie through TV and can get 5.1 sound in HT but except this model all other models have Optical IN.

I have heard that if TV has ARC(audio return channel) it will get audio from TV by using same HDMI cable but not sure.

Hi all. I have sony bravia 32' LCD TV and DAV-dz310 home theater system. I have airtel HD digital TV connection too. What i want is to rout the 5.1 channel audio signal of HD channels to my home theater. Currently my setup box does not have any optical output. It only has HDMI output which is connected to LCD TV. How can i listen to 5.1 channel sound through my current system.
