HP released an update for IPIBL-LB Motherboard BIOS update resolves an issue with the system hanging when 7GB of RAM is installed, and improves support for newer processors.
The major enhancements of the update includes,
- Updates Hardware Diagnostic Tools to v4880.05
- Resolves issue with the system hanging when 7GB of RAM is installed.
- Improves support for newer processors.
- Resolves issue with the system appearing to hang during restart if an HP Personal Media Drive is connected.
You must be logged in as administrator and having windows vista operating system and IPIBL-LB Motherboard in order to install the update.
The update version is defined as Version 5.32 with a file name of sp40908.exe and a small file size of 1.67 mb under HP Pavilion Elite m9100t CTO Desktop PC downloads and it is compatible with almost all the versions of windows vista operating system.

ReplyDeleteAfter installing this bios update my HP Pavilion Elite m9252p PC it stalls for about 40 seconds when booting while initializing USB. Also, removed feature to do a quick boot.
