ReplyDeleteI delete my back up file by accident, "I Click on the Delete backup button" how do I find it back becoz I cannot find it on "recycle bin", thx...
ReplyDeletei backed up my phone and memory card and then did a software update. ran the restore but it will not restore the files. there is 1.6 gb of info but the restore states 0gb. how do i get all this info back onto my phone?
ReplyDeleteThis SE software sucks. It has placed 2005 copies of queue.cah on m c drive WTF? what is happening with SE?
ReplyDeleteYes! I have tried to delete all of them - 6619 copies of this file (queue.cah) from every corner of my c drive, but the next time I start my pc, it has multiplied its copies back again. How can that be? Is there a way to delete them sucsessfully?
ReplyDeleteA piece of sh*t
ReplyDeleteYou have to open the "queue.cah" file using wordpad, then change the programing code. Or you can use a free OS like ubuntu to delete the core file, while you bypass the administrative privileges on the new OS. This makes you capable of deleting the virus.
ReplyDeleteI have also had this issue, 2,000+ times. Very, very poor update by Sony/Ericsson, it's like a .CAH worm, but it's not a virus, just clearly very very bad programming.
ReplyDeleteGiven little other option, I reverted to a system restore point, then uninstalled PC Companion completely, and deleted all the .CAH files, including the one that wanted to be burnt to a CD and the one in the start folder of Excel.
What a piece of crap - did they not test it before release?
Jackal
ReplyDeleteI did the update and was stuck with the Queue.cah files as well. What worked for me to get rid of this is the following:
The file by default does not have any association to a program, double click to open it and choose the Sony Ericsson PC Comanion (make sure the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" option is selected).
PC companion will now open up, close it and go to the search option - Select all Files an folders - Under "More advanced options" select "Search hidden files and folders" - type Queue.cah and searh.
Once done searching select all the files and press "Shift" and "Delete" to permanantly remove these files. Reboot and check if these files are back.
Worked for me and I have no hiccups with PC companion any more.
Good Luck
